I’ve walked past this sign hundreds of times. Mostly, I laugh when I see it. It makes no sense; there’s no other way to go.
But sometimes, it stops me in my tracks. Ideas are bubbling in my head. Decisions need to be made. There are no right or wrong answers--just options that could lead me down a different path.
In 2019, with COVID in full bloom, I launched a website featuring positive happenings around the world. But I quickly discovered that I didn’t like being online all the time looking for these events. So, I shut it down. Lesson learned.
Shortly after, I launched Millions in the Middle, a website focused on bringing people together politically.
But after a few years, I realized that I couldn’t handle all the political issues and rancor. So, I shut it down. Lesson learned.
In 2022, I finally figured out what I wanted to do. I wanted to focus on what could be. And, that’s when I launched WhatsReallyPossible.com.
I bought that domain name over 20 years ago. I didn’t know why. It just felt important.
Now I get it. I’m here to "inspire positive change in an evolving world."
Starting and stopping those projects wasn’t easy. It took me longer than I’d hoped to find my focus. You’d think that at my age, I’d know.
But ultimately, each of these initiatives led me in the direction I needed to go.
Remember—no failures. Just a lot of valuable learning experiences.
That’s what makes life fun!
